The project

We have a newly planted vineyard with a total of 4.4 Ha on the same land. The vineyard is located in the small town of Segura, located in the Conca de Barberà and part of the Vall del Corb. At the head are Paolo and Maria, a young couple (graduates in environmental and forestry sciences) who are proud of rural life and the land. We are at an altitude of 794m, an element that gives a lot of personality and character to our wines. Thanks to the marinada (wind coming from the marine areas) and the low temperatures we enjoy on summer nights, we achieve optimal climatic conditions to obtain the best quality in our grapes.

Us

We are a young couple, Maria and Paolo, who decided to leave our routines behind to start a new stage in a small town of only 15 inhabitants, called Segura. Here, between mountains and fields, we created our project, a dream that has been with us for a long time: to plant vineyards and produce an exclusive wine of high quality.

Our goal is to produce a small quantity, with the desire to make a wine that reflects our passion and our commitment to the land. In Segura, we have found the perfect space to carry out this project of creating something unique and special, with a vineyard that grows in harmony with the landscape that surrounds us.

We share this adventure with our rural house, which we have converted to welcome wine and nature lovers. Our visitors can enjoy a peaceful stay, surrounded by vineyards and spectacular landscapes.

The vineyard

We consider very important to climatic and plant factors, which is why we plant Albarinyo, a varietal from Galicia. The second variety present is the Gewürztraminer grown in cold areas such as Alto Adige, Alsace and Germany. The third variety is Garnatxa Blanca, better known in our lands. The name Masades comes from a family originally from Segura, with a lot of influence in the area and important wine producers at the time. La Plana, the land where we found the vineyard, originates from the Masades family.
